3Z Scale announced its first product, the R/C Rider, a 1/3rd scale, remote-control and drivable monster truck designed for off-road use, at Dealer Expo 2009, an annual show for power sports dealers held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

3Z places substantial emphasis on safety including an industry-first keypad interlock system designed to restrict operation of its R/C Rider to authorized adult drivers.
